IT’S NOT EASY TO RUN.

Institutional funding like the Arts Council England is extremely difficult to get. Application success rate can be as low as 7%. We constantly adapt to the criteria of these institutions, but it is always a very exhausting process – sadly, we are trained musicians, not fundraisers.

We never know if our projects will be funded. We cannot promise fair pay to our brilliant artists until, sometimes, 8 to 9 months into the proposed project. At times, we have to sacrifice things that we truly want to do. This is the inconvenient truth about traditional funding models.

BUT IT’S WORTH IT.

Our vision remains clear: “To bring experiences that pause time, make people wonder, and refresh the way we see the world.” We strongly believe that we are making music that matters. And people need it now more than ever.

That’s why our individual and corporate patrons, who donate a yearly amount of £100 or over, make a huge difference. It cuts the time we spend on making funding applications and helps us focus on our artistic projects. In the long run, we seriously hope to move away from traditional funding models and build genuine, sustainable partnerships in the community. We are optimistic that this will create meaningful impacts.
