What if music and movement could grow, compost, and bloom again like a garden?
Forest Time is a free, relaxed, family-friendly outdoor music and dance show inspired by time, nature, and movement. We invite you to travel through the trees, flowers, picnic benches, and open spaces of Calthorpe Community Garden in a relaxed, hour-long performance. Wander, pause, and follow your curiosity. Move around, leave, and return as you please.

Owen Ho (composer) spends much of his time watching his cat, Pippi, and pondering the meaning of human life.Lesly Avendaño (dancer) does a happy dance when she’s going to eat something she really enjoys.Hayun Lee (violinist) loves being at home with her cat, Kkomi, and watching horror movies with him.
Francesca Matthys (dancer) enjoys talking to her pot plants when she was a kid (and they 100% spoke back).Catherine Cotter (cellist) can make an excellent lasagne but almost never does because it takes her all day.Fred Bareham (clarinettist) names all his reeds. Only one has ever survived long enough to earn a surname.
Sara Augieras (dancer) wrote a musical about her cat Fiffi, won’t you eat you dinner. It seems to have helped with her appetite.Lara Ali‘s flute is her voice. She enjoys furthering her practice through ethnomusicological research and free improvisation.
Photography and filming will take place during the event. By attending, you may appear in photographs or video footage used to document and promote the performance.
